Metro Mayhem: Pre-Istanbul Edition
Metro Mayhem takes our Treasure Hunt format and unleashes it on the London Transport system. A pile of checkpoints are hidden all across the TFL network, from Zone 1 all the way to 6.
Not all checkpoints are equal. Each gives points weighted by difficulty. The harder/further it is to get to, the more it's worth. Some locations offer bonus points for the first visitors, so strategy matters. TFL transport only, no taxis. Personal bikes and TFL Santander bikes are excluded.
This is a special, larger edition of Metro Mayhem - with a capacity of 60 participants, it's bigger than our usual events. It's designed as an optional pre-race meet up for anyone heading to the 2026 Trans European Race to Istanbul, which sets off the following day. Whether you're racing or just along for the send-off, come and explore London with us one last time before the continent beckons. Anyone is welcome to enter, but we'll initially launch to the participants of the Istanbul race.
How the day runs
Just before noon on Saturday 22 August 2026. Participants will meet our team for a quick briefing. The exact start location will be confirmed closer to the event - it will be a central, publicly accessible location in Zone 1. Our tracking app will unlock the checkpoints and the game begins at 12:00 sharp.
Five hours to hoover up as many points as you can. You must be at the finish by 17:00 and the hunt is over. Scores are tallied and then the real fun begins…
We've booked out space at The Miller, a brilliant pub in London Bridge. Wind down, grab a drink, share stories and get to meet your fellow Lupine Racers. Results will be announced here - and for those heading to Istanbul the next morning, it's the perfect send-off.
