Czech-Mate 2027

Czech-Mate 2027

Czech-Mate is run in our Short format, a tight, linear race geared towards racers aged 18 and over. We'll hold a briefing at the start before sending you on your way to Prague. It is a brilliant introduction to our point-to-point events for anyone short on annual leave. With a deadline this short, it is likely you will need to use some late or early transport to complete the challenge, and for that reason we do not advise under-18s to join this event. After the start in London, your first checkpoint is known ahead of time: Breda in the Netherlands. That means you can book your Eurostar in advance and avoid getting stung by last-minute prices on the day. From Breda onwards, the race opens up. Several optional routes lead towards Prague, and it will be down to you to weigh up the connections and pick the fastest line through to the finish. Because of the short deadline, there is also an optional checkpoint near the end that the fastest finishers must visit to take the win. Anyone simply looking to log a finish, or focusing on our other competitions, can skip it. The Sunday cut-off is deliberately early so you can catch a late flight home and make the most of your annual leave.
