To mark Unity Weekend in Germany, we are running Metro Mayhem as a double header in Berlin on 3 and 4 October 2026. Two days, two very different sides of the city. Do one, or do both.
Metro Mayhem takes our points-based treasure hunt format and unleashes it on the city's public transport network. Checkpoints are scattered across the network, each worth different points based on how difficult they are to reach.
Not all checkpoints are equal. Harder to reach locations score more points. Some offer bonus points for the first visitors, so your route choices matter. Collect as many points as you can before the finish time.
In true Lupine style, forget the tourist trail. Every checkpoint is a quirky, tucked-away gem: obscure Cold War history, hidden public art, forgotten corners of a city split and reunified. Berlin has more of those than almost anywhere.
The Saturday edition explores West Berlin. Briefing just before noon, then the hunt runs from 12:00 to 17:00. Five hours to cover as much ground as you can.
The Sunday edition heads into East Berlin. We start early: the hunt runs from 09:00 to 14:00. Ideal for those wanting to catch an evening flight home afterwards.
Both days end with an informal social at a location TBC near where the day's hunt concludes. Results announced, scores tallied, and a chance to meet fellow participants over a drink. Details shared with entrants closer to the date.
Metro Mayhem: Berlin uses our standard points-based format. League points are awarded for every finish (minimum points threshold applies), with bonus league points for the top placements in each day's edition. There will also be some small prizes for the top placings... details to be confirmed.
Our early bird weekend passes have now sold out. Weekend passes and individual day passes are now on sale. The weekend pass covers both days at €90 per person. Individual day passes for Saturday and Sunday are €50 per person each. Each day is capped at approximately 50 participants.
